The
Family
Programme
Promotion Services
(FPPS), is a Kenyan non-governmental and non-profit organization
registered in 1996 to continue the services of the Family Planning
Private Sector Programme, originally incorporated in 1984 to
provide high quality family planning and maternal child health
services to the private sector in Kenya.
The
organization has been renamed to reflect the wider mandate that
now encompasses community development activities and issues
such as governance, human rights, gender, conservation, leadership
training, poverty alleviation and reproductive health.
FPPS is committed
to innovative leadership in creation
of health awareness, governance and participatory
capacity building for development of communities through cultural
communication, training, research and publication.
